Ranger Tod Cornell lives and works on Anclote Key Preserve State Park.  He is a dedicated park ranger who has the public's best interest and safety in mind.  He protects the wildlife and native vegetation, and helps to keep the islands clean and free of litter and exotic vegetation.  He also fixes equipment, does construction, and makes sure the lighthouse functions properly.

• Visitors who respect the islands by picking up trash, leaving their dogs at home, and allowing shorebirds resting time without disturbance.
• Utility Tractor with Mower Deck and Bucket PURCHASED!  Thanks to (1) Open House donors and Friends memberships, (2) a grant from Florida State Park Foundation, and (3) funding from Florida State Parks, the Friends were able to purchase a brand new John Deere tractor!!!!
