ISLAND WORK DAYS!

Please join us! 

Come join us as we help Ranger Tod Cornell on beautiful Anclote Key.  Even though it is work, we have a lot of fun while there.

Jobs include:

• beach clean-up
• yard work around the Ranger's compound
• cutting palm fronds and or tree limbs
• raking leaves
• painting
• plumbing
• carpentry
• mechanical
• any general work as designated and needed.

Bring a lunch & snacks including water or soft drinks. Wear closed toed shoes and a hat, and bring work gloves, bug spray, sun screen, and anything else you will need for the day. 

If you take your own watercraft, we suggest you arrive on the island around 9:00 AM. We will let you know if the time changes. 

All volunteers must first register by emailing:  president@anclotecso.org 

Tell us your name and the names of all volunteers in your party. 

Volunteers meet at the Anclote River Park boat ramp at 7:45 am sharp.

LIGHTHOUSE OPEN HOUSES!

We always can use volunteer help on Open House days!  Jobs include:

• Sales of memorabilia
• Being a docent - answering questions
• Handing out/collecting tickets

First Fridays in Downtown Tarpon Springs

We set up a table and tent with memorabilia for sale, membership and volunteer information,  Memorial Brick order forms, and our signature lighthouse model. Sometimes we even set up the bean bag toss game!  We always could use extra help from outgoing folks who like to meet people and talk about Anclote Key and the lighthouse.  Please stop by and see us...or volunteer with us!
